Orleans House gardens are shown here in strong sunlight. This is a great moment to demonstrate contrasts in value and chroma saturation. I enjoyed the patterns of the dappled light on the grass. I think it works in terms of varied marks and tones disappearing towards the distance at the top. Orleans House was a first time visit for me, to which I have subsequently returned.
