Order Without Perfection (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Samantha Malone

“Order Without Perfection” is a diptych made up of two large abstract panels, each built through repetition, rhythm and subtle shifts in color. Vertical lines in earthy greens, rusts, creams, browns and soft yellows create a woven composition that feels structured yet organic at the same time.

Although the work is based on a simple repeated brushstrokes, small irregularities in the spacing, thickness, texture and color of each stripe give the painting warmth, movement and humanity. The slight variation between the two panels creates a natural dialogue and together the panels create a composition that feels calm and balanced without becoming rigid or controlled.

Medium: Acrylic paint on gallery grade Italian cotton canvas.
