A strong heat begins to dissipate over the French city. Shadows lengthen now, dust settles, tempers calm. The air is infused with lavender soap, with the scent of roasting chicken, cold beer, red wine, rosemary and thyme. It is pleasant to wander alone, to explore, to own. Flowers grow, shutters creak, and the maze of streets invites us inwards. This smaller work depicts a French street scene. The work is painted on a canvas board and can therefore be easily framed.
