- The girl with orange hair
Original artwork description
A fragile old painting executed on an insubstantial support in my first studio. It needs to be well framed by the owner and the price reflects this.
The model was my brother John's girlfriend Glenys who was a great lover of spiders and thus endeared herself to me. John always seemed to nick my girlfriends, and though I probably tried was never successful in managing to tempt Glenys away!
It has now suffered some damage - see images. This can be restored, if anyone is interested.
Materials used:
Spectrum oil paint, knives, sticks, paste medium.
Details:
- Oil painting on Panel / Board / MDF
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 38 x 40 x 2cm (unframed)
- Signed on the front
- Style: Impressionistic
- Subject: People and portraits
