We have adapted to the war, but we feel the weight of it weighing on us. These sensations are shown in the painting with the help of the pose of the girl, as if something heavy is pressing her into the ground.
The realistic image of the girl seems to dissolve and transform into a line. We feel some uncertainty about the
future. Textured and expressive
strokes of paint emphasize the instability and changeability of reality. But the air like opium envelops and calms us.
