The One That Got AwayRelief

A new larger version of my sellout edition "The One That Got Away" in Red in a gorgeous hand built wooded frame. Other colours available are White and Navy.

The butterflies radiate out from the centre of the frame in a circular pattern, which has order and symmetry only broken by one single escaping butterfly. This is a 24crt gold leaf butterfly which adds a preciousness to the piece. The repetitive relief design gives this artwork an abstract, modern feel and reveals the butterfly design on closer inspecion.

Every butterfly is hand punched and folded and glued with precision. The 3-dimensional aspect creates beautiful shadows which give the artwork a life of its own and changes throughout the day in changing light situations.

This new edition comes in an upgraded beautiful hand built solid wood box frame with glass front.

Sometimes I can ship right away but as I hand make every piece to order sometimes it might take a bit longer. If you have a specific deadline in mind please let me know, I always satisfy this if possible and I will of course be very clear regarding timescales with my communications.

All pieces come wrapped with a personal message and certificate of authenticity.
