Original artwork description:

A brand new Pure Copper Leaf version of my popular edition "One that Got Away" with one single 24carat Gold Leaf butterfly. Inspired by this years 2019 Pantone Colour of the Year 'Living Coral', and would look fabulous in any interior setting. The copper leaf sparkles and looks rather precious!

It comes beautifully framed in a hand built wooden frame, wrapped with certificate of authenticity.

The butterflies radiate out from the centre of the frame in a circular pattern, which has order and symmetry only broken by one single escaping butterfly. This is a 24crt gold leaf butterfly which adds a preciousness to the piece. The repetitive relief design gives this artwork an abstract, modern feel and reveals the butterfly design on closer inspection.

Every butterfly is hand punched and folded and glued with precision. The 3-dimensional aspect creates beautiful shadows which give the artwork a life of its own and changes throughout the day in changing light situations.

All pieces come wrapped with a personal message and certificate of authenticity.
