I create many color studies about light, in different shapes and using different techniques.
This one is using the principle of color wheel and prism combined.
if you look in the spectrum (light studies of newton, itten) you can see different ways to represent and perceive light.
Therefore we all have different lectures of light and colors.

I wanted to select two different day segment and capture them as two parts facing each other in a wheel.
then created two outlines to highlight the contrast and create illusion of structure in the painting.
