This artwork is part of the artist's sustainability initiative to minimize studio waste by repurposing used studio dropcloths and surplus paint into unique derivative works of art. In this case, a 62"x74" dropcloth remnant has been refashioned into a flowing sculptural artwork using leftover paints from regular painting sessions. The artwork is shown draped in 48"x72" configuration and includes straps fastened to the back of the canvas to facilitate quick and simple installation in the drape shown. The canvas can be shortened or lengthened easily by tightening or loosening the straps or otherwise modified by adding additional straps.
