Original artwork description:

Croatian seaports, even the smallest ones, remain the living heart of coastal towns. Life is in full swing here: at dawn, townspeople rush for a fresh catch, suppliers collect fish under contracts, tourists peer curiously into the thick of the port bustle, and the fishing fleet rests, preparing for new voyages.
Right at the pier, proudly towering over the city buildings, are two magnificent ships - the snow-white Sveti Roko and the elegant Mareta Jedan. Their polished forms, ideal draft and characteristic silhouette are reminiscent of the golden age of shipbuilding. They are not just fishing boats, but proud rulers of the pier, faithful to the wind and the sea. Silent guardians of the port, they remain faithful companions of sailors, without losing either strength or dignity.
This picture is the breath of sea life, the honor of the fishing craft and the eternal dialogue between man and the sea.

Materials used:

oil on canvas, palette knife
