Original artwork description
This painting captures a quiet moment within a Korean pine forest, where sunlight gently filters through the trees.
I have always been drawn to forests and pine trees, observing their forms, textures, and changing light through careful and patient observation. For me, a forest is not simply a landscape. It is a place where I can slow down, rest, and reflect on the memories and emotions of everyday life.
The strong trunks and delicate branches in this painting represent the resilience and passage of time found in nature, while the warm light emerging from between the trees creates a sense of hope and calm. I wanted to capture the feeling of standing quietly in the forest and experiencing a moment of peace away from the noise of everyday life.
Through my paintings, I hope to share this feeling of rest and renewal with the viewer. I want each person to discover their own memories, emotions, or a familiar place within the landscape.
