The artist pays great attention to the landscape in his work. He shows determination and perseverance in comprehending the secrets of plein air painting. His sketches reflect the preferences and characteristics of the artist, assert the role of impression as a way of artistic cognition of reality, preserving the immediacy of its perception in painting. In his works, the line between sketch and painting is erased, the latter is a kind of "window into the world", and is perceived as a holistic work, in which the performance is adequate to the task at hand. The presented work was created in the open air (from French "plein air"), and was written in one session. The work was done by professional artistic oil paint of the highest quality.
