I love the composition of this, something heroic about the size of the woman, on a mission to buy. I loved how she filled the scene, dwarfing all around her. This psychologically heightens her single minded, slightly manic determination and drive towards the shops.
This was the outdoor market in the Uplands, Swansea.
I love the light on her face and how she grips her handbag, in anticipation. It is full of energy and anticipation, she is on a mission, don't get in her way!
