This is a bold impressionistic style painting, inspired by other well known impressionist painters. I have used plenty of thick oil paint and played around with bold brushstrokes and vibrant colours.
It is a twisted old oak tree that we had lunch under one day while I was working as a winemaker. Such fond memories!
