Original artwork description
Old Masonry Samples is a one of a kind original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint on 5 mil archival grade mylar. I have stayed with my usual pallet of warm “earthy” colors. As the title implies, for this work, I cobbled together some images of ancient masonry and used them as a model for the painting.
I only sell original work so there will only be one original.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. In this painting, the ionic pediment has been digitally reproduced and laminated to the 5 mil archival grade mylar and then the remainder of the painting was created with high quality acrylic paints.
This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It will be mounted on tempered masonite with a two inch border all around. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
