Original Watercolor on paper 19.5 H x 12.5 W inch.(50x32cm) -Old Mahen Theatre- is a watercolor painting depicts the Mahen Theatre in the city of Brno, with a Neoclassical and Neo-Baroque architecture style; to render the feelings more romantic I painted an old car passing through in a modern street and an after raining atmosphere that provides a magic feelings of warm autumnal colors. Artwork made in studio, after many sketches made plein air/on location, dated and signed on both sides 2025; on paper watercolor, Saunders Waterford 300 gsm rough and deckle edges.
The painting tries to render the energy and feelings of the place, with a technique wet on wet.
