I am always searching for ways to combine the vintage with new art. This piece was inspired by these gorgeous old cabinet doors. I replaced the knobs, cleaned them up, and created the painting to be framed by the doors. It is quite stunning in person and brings a peaceful atmosphere to any room. The mellow greens and ochre transport the viewer into nature and have a calming effect.
