Original artwork description
This view is from the coastal path that leads from Daymer bay towards Polzeath on the beautiful north Cornish coast. It had been a bright February morning when suddenly I saw the storm approaching, inevitably there was no shelter and I ended up being pelted with hail! However, it was so dramatic I have tried to capture it in this oil sketch. I have used mostly blue ultramarine for the blues with some phthalocynine blue in the sea colour.
It is currently unframed although I could arrange framing if desired.
Materials used:
Oil paint on linen canvas
Details:
- Oil painting on Canvas
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 36 x 26 x 1.5cm (unframed)
- Ready to hang
- Signed on the front
- Style: Impressionistic
- Subject: Landscapes, sea and sky
