Two different shades of blue were pushed across the canvas, followed by a clear yellow sweeping gesture. The form was determined by a combination of expressionist movements, and by directing the strokes towards where the globs of oil paint were.
This is part of the artist’s ongoing practice, where he intuitively paints for a few hours each day, allowing for his mood and perception of the day to influence the work.
