Original artwork description
I was lucky to make art on the specially protected island Ogoy, which is located in the national park of the Great Lake of Baikal. The island is under special protection. Its size is quite small and you can walk it around in a day. If you're lucky, you can see freshwater seals along the shores of the island. At the top of the island a shrine was built. People come to the island by a boat, walk around the shrine, pray, enjoy nature and leave something as a keepsake for the island, usually, coins. People believe that the place can fulfills their wishes. I was so happy to be in this unique place of planet Earth, paint the sanctuary in Ogoy island and the blue shores of Lake Baikal.
