Ochre Sky Drift is an original contemporary abstract seascape painting created with acrylic on linen canvas.
While working on this piece, I focused on the quiet transition between sky, water and distant land. Rather than depicting a literal place, I translated the feeling of open coastal space into layered textures and expressive movements of paint.
Soft blue and atmospheric grey tones move across the surface, merging with muted ivory passages and deeper charcoal elements. Subtle touches of warm ochre appear within the upper layers of the composition, introducing warmth and natural contrast against the cooler tones.
