I created this blue beige abstract painting with ochre accents as an exploration of contrast and structure — where cool and warm tones meet and define each other.

Working with acrylic on canvas, I built the composition through layered textures using palette knife and expressive brushwork. Soft blue and muted grey tones open the space, while warm beige and stone-like shades bring a grounded, natural feel. A central intersecting form creates a strong visual structure, enhanced by subtle ochre accents that introduce warmth and depth.

The textured surface allows the painting to shift throughout the day, revealing different nuances as light interacts with the layers. Fine linear details and expressive marks add movement, while the overall composition remains calm and refined.
