This nude painting of 'The girl with brown eyes', was done at a life class given by the famous war artist Leslie Cole. It was quite a while ago he taught me at his class. He was an exceptional teacher and well respected when he taught at the Central School in London. The markings on the side of the painting are his showing the form of the nude. I did this painting in Gouache quite an unusual medium for me. But I liked the end result as the model was a beautiful girl and I caught her likeness well I think.
