Painted from my studio with mountain view in Auvergne, in the very heart of France.
The morning sun is glittering frost meadows and mists. In the atmosphere warmed they rise above the Loire, hidden by a strip of trees, revealing its presence.
This landscape is painted “alla prima” in one single sitting, with lively and spontaneous brushstrokes to attempt to capture the momentary effects of sunlight , the movement and the atmosphere.
READY TO HANG: a simple painted stick of pine wood hides the sides. Color: dark brown.
Materials used:
This painting is painted with professional grade oil colors on a primed canvas. I prepare myself my canvases to create a texture specific to my painting needs and to insure them maximum longevity.
