Original artwork description:

“Nothing is Forever” is a large abstract seascape oil painting 80cm x 80cm (32 x 32 inches) on 4cm (1.5 inch) deep canvas.

It was recently exhibited in Unsinkable Memories an exhibition at Gallery Grounds in Southampton about the Titanic.

It’s titled from And Nothing is Forever by The Cure.

I have always been inspired by story of the Titanic and how the ship that was supposed to be unsinkable became one of the most famous shipwrecks in history. I feel it is a story of tragedy, endurance and survival. This painting evokes the calm after the storm with a feeling of hope. It reminds us that however stormy and disastrous things can be there will always be calm seas ahead, and nothing is forever, however terrible.

It's painted in shades of blue and green with white. The surface of the painting has a slightly matt sheen and the painting continues around the sides of the canvas.

It is signed on the back, ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.

Shipping is free in the UK and sent with trackable courier. It should arrive within 48 hours of despatch.
