Do you love coffee, or do you love the fifteen minutes of pretending your life is together while sitting in a tiny café with a mismatched cup?
Honestly, I think it's the second one. I love small, cozy cafés — the colorful mugs, the little plates, the general chaos of patterns that shouldn't work together but somehow do. Sometimes I suspect I don't love coffee as much as I love the atmosphere around it. It reminds me of childhood tea sets, oddly enough — maybe because, just like back then, nobody expects you to do the dishes afterward.
This original painting is my ode to that feeling: a table covered in bright, patterned tableware, a teapot too confident for its own good, and a pear that showed up uninvited but looks completely at home. It's not about a specific café or a specific day — it's about that particular joy of sitting down, looking at something beautiful, and letting someone else handle the cleanup.
