Since I started this painting I wanted to give it an atmosphere of serenity. To feel nostalgia is to smile, it is to remember the good things that have happened to you. Intertwined in this work are the feelings of when we all had to be isolated for a while, nostalgia for being able to see the beaches, nostalgia for sitting on its sand. Hence my chosen scene, with its blue sky but surrounded by clouds with dark touches. In the shade you find yourself waiting for the sun, allowing you to be there in silence and remembering.
