The Northern Lights is another favourite subject of mine in painting. I like the contrast of light and dark in my winter art.
This painting is a large canvas which measures 24 inches by 18 inches and 1.3 inches deep
I was born and still live in Scotland so winter is something that I've always been influenced by. I wanted to paint a cool blue with a nice green colour for the lights here. I have a romantic couple having a short sit down to watch the night sky.
