This delightful little oil painting was painted back in the studio using sketches and photographs taken whilst on a canoe trip along the River Bure on the Norfolk broads. The painting is full of light and shade and captures the tranquil mood of a hot sunny day in July. The sky was full of billowy clouds which reflected beautifully on the calm river surface.
