£303.5
Original artwork description
'Nonsense!' Acrylic and fineliner on a page of The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady.
Antarctic Krill are a food source for animals ranging from blue whales to squid to penguins, not to mention little carbon capture machines. Up to 12 billion tonnes of carbon are pooped to the bottom of the ocean by these amazing athropods. Considering that global energy-related carbon dioxide emissions were 36.3 billion tonnes last year, we owe the krill a hearty handshake.
Shittily, there is a growing market for krill oil in the world of food supplements. The market is on the up, which means that sequestered 12b tonnes a year will be on the down.
Instead of being a silly bastard and buying plastic packaged pills of krill oil to quench your thirst for Omega 3, how about you try some of these Omega 3 rich vegan food stuffs:
Hemp seed (unsmokable), chia seed, kidney beans, edamame beans, rapeseed oil, walnuts, flax seed, purslane (it grows practically everywhere as an edible weed), spinach, pumpkin seeds and on and on and on.
Materials used:
Acrylic and ink on painted book page
Details:
