A work exploring the presence of the divine through light and color.
Nocturne I belongs to the Sanctum series — a body of work conceived as an interior space. Sanctum reflects on the notion of sacred space within the contemporary world, where soft fields of color generate an atmosphere of stillness and interior depth.
Through subtle tonal transitions and restrained luminosity, the work creates a contemplative environment that invites quiet immersion. Rather than depicting place, it evokes an inward space shaped by light and perception.
Executed with acrylic and mixed media on fine art paper and protected with museum-grade acrylic glass, the surface reveals depth and refined luminosity. This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, framed in treated natural oak wood and ready to hang. A hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity is included.
