A luminous pond unfolds in living colour: iris blossoms tilt into shimmering water while knife-laid lily pads scatter like gemstones across violets, turquoises and honeyed whites. Puliafico sculpts paint into relief, letting light catch on ridges so the surface seems to breathe—half landscape, half abstraction. Echoes of Monet’s gardens are renewed through a Mediterranean chroma and a contemporary, gestural syntax. Depth flows from the cool lower pool to warm reflections above, guiding the eye in a slow, contemplative drift. Materials used:

First-rate oil colors of the Florentine brand "DI VOLO" applied with spatula were used for the painting, and the pictorial support is a cottono canvas pre-painted for oil painting with Gesso and Glue.
