Abstract impressionist landscape, 60x60cm.
One of many paintings I have brought back from my painting trip to the North Pembrokeshire coast. There is something gentle and beautiful about the colour and light here which I really love.
Newport is a sleepy small town on the coast, with a harbor, beautiful walks, an estuary and a very large beach. If toy stand on the beack there is nothing bu the sea in front of you, if you approach is via a small footpath, there are trees and grasses framing the sand and the sea.
I use beautiful quality acrylic paints, mostly Golden acrylic, and Lascaux, and a large variety of brushes and palette knives, to drip, wash, smudge and paint the surface of the canvas, to create a rich and varied painting.
