Original artwork description
There is a buzz in the air, here in New York City. Taxis sound their horns in frustration, engines snarling, the energy palpable. Skyscrapers soar upwards, thousands of windows twinkling like stars, each one a mystery. I wander the streets, alone and excited, a day to myself exploring, my senses overwhelmed. The work is full of colour, full of vibrancy, and I have used some collage to add to the chaos and bustle of the city. This work is a great souvenir of the Big Apple, a perfect gift and a fantastic addition to any collection of urban themed works.
Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
