Stepping into the car, the first thing that catches your eye is the row of bright red bench seats lining both sides. They’re molded plastic—smooth, slightly glossy, and built in long continuous sections rather than individual chairs. The red pops against the otherwise muted colours of the train, giving the space a bit of retro energy. AIt's such a cultural icon of New York City.

This canvas is a terrific addition to any collection of American artworks .

Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.

Materials used:

cotton and wood canvas, acrylic paint, paper/card, glue, clear varnish gloss
