The painting depicts an abstract seascape in predominantly red, yellow and orange tones. The picture radiates a mystical and calm atmosphere and invites the viewer on a journey of discovery to the horizon of the picture. The title of the painting describes this inner journey to unknown shores and reveals a little of my own associations and feelings during the painting process. Many thin layers of colour and the mixture of acrylic with different materials create a greater depth and special light effects. The painting was exhibited at the ARTe Konstmesse in Constance in 2024 and in the pop-up exhibition - Historisches Gutshaus Wienhausen near Celle in 2024. The sides of the picture are painted so that it can be hung without a frame. The picture is signed on the front and back and is ready to hang. The picture surface has a varnish coating with UV protection.
