This painting is unstretched and ships rolled in a tube.
Sometimes I paint something and just think it's too awful, too extreme, so I roll it up and hide it away. But then when I find it again I love it! I can't really remember what this one was about, something along the lines of I never imagined things would end up like this, and I know I was listening to The Velvet Underground song "Ocean". Anyway, whatever it was about, it contains a huge amount of energy!
