This piece is inspired by the my relationship to the ocean. The collage is constructed from various papers, nautical charts, cyanotypes and acrylic paint on wooden panel. The man's silhouette is a photo-transfer over the collage. The origami boats are folded from vintage, hand-written letters and are dimensional. I used small tacks to adhere the boats to the panel. The seagulls are cut from cyanotypes.
Signed on the back and ready to hang.
