I created this piece while exploring the boundary between mineral sediment and botanical growth — that quiet moment when matter organises itself without human direction. For me, abstract painting is a dialogue with materials: I let the ink and water find their own path, and I follow. I begin with a thick layer of gesso to build texture and relief across the canvas. I then let ink and water merge freely, creating these ethereal organic forms — threads of indigo pooling and dispersing across a pale, luminous ground. Layers of acrylic are added to fix and deepen the composition, contrasting matte and lustrous finishes that reward close observation. Stretched on a solid wooden frame with carefully finished 4 cm (1.5") deep edges — no frame needed. The work arrives ready to hang, signed on the back, with a certificate of authenticity. Packed with maximum protection for safe international shipping.
