I captured this shot in Lisbon during the Fujifilm Euro Press Photo Award ceremony, right at the exit of the metro station.
In my artwork, I explored emotional transformation through the use of earthly materials and organic pigments, blending abstraction, expressionism, and realism to convey the tension between progress and nostalgia.
The solitary figure under the lamplight symbolizes the search for guidance along life’s journey.
