The painting depicts a sunset over the sea — a landscape of my hometown. It used to be a daily, almost ordinary ritual that brought me peace and inspiration. Now these moments have become especially precious: for several years I have been living far from home, and returning is not yet possible.
With this work, I wanted to convey the warmth of memory and also offer the viewer a moment of stillness and light. It is a reminder that even in the most challenging times there is still room for hope and beauty.
My work here is a single copy of my unique and original handiwork. It is made on special, high-quality 100% cotton paper designed for watercolor from the world’s best manufacturers and has a density of 300 grams/meter.
