- Nasturtium in the hand
Original artwork description
During my student years, I once felt very depressed, and then my friend brought me a small bag of pine cones (I don't know where she collected them – there weren't any pine trees growing nearby). Giving me this strange gift, she smilingly said, ‘This is for your despondency; there is no greater sin in life than despondency.’
I remembered that for the rest of my life.
This small painting is my ‘bag of pine cones’ for today.
