This narwhal began as a painting for my daughter’s bedroom while I was pregnant with her. I finished it in those quiet newborn weeks — a time of softness, stillness and deep emotion — and that feeling is layered into every mark.

Created in my signature stippled style, the narwhal is built slowly through hand-placed dots and layered colour, giving depth and luminosity beyond traditional black-and-white stippling. Subtle tonal shifts bring a gentle movement to the piece, echoing the calm strength of this solitary Arctic creature.

This listing is for one of only two Artist Proof giclée prints available. Printed on museum-quality fine art paper using archival inks, each proof is hand-signed and marked AP, making it rarer than the standard edition.
