“My Margarita” came from a very real place in me—a moment where I felt things shifting, burning away, changing. I remember feeling this rush of emotion while painting it—like something had to be released. The reds and corals just poured out, full of energy and intensity, while the greys helped hold everything together, like the calm that watches over the chaos.

It felt wild and alive, but not out of control. More like a beautiful kind of surrender. And then, as I kept working, these soft touches of light started to appear—little moments of clarity, like quiet reminders that something new was being born through all of it.

This piece is about that journey. About trusting the fire within me, even when it feels scary. It’s about finding grace in the mess, and strength in vulnerability. For me, it’s a reminder that transformation isn’t always gentle—but it’s always worth it.
