My friend (2026) Original Oil Painting by Laura Muolo

A painting inspired by a manga by @Roger (who was happy to give me permission), which I particularly love because they're so cute and reveal our true essence, our own appearance, as if represented by an animal. This painting is titled "My Friend" and is painted on paper, 50 x 35 cm.

"My friend is a monster, I'm not kidding,
he looks like he's stepped out of a horror film, a real villain.
But he's faithful, eh, like a shadow in the night,
always ready to follow me, even to the point of beatings.
He doesn't need asking twice, for anything in the world,
even if his appearance is a bit fecund."
