This artwork is a lamentful plea of a lover to his beloved, who's nowhere to be found among the many faceless around him.

He desperately wants to hold onto the blissful memories of their togetherness until she comes back, but with each passing day it gets more and more difficult.

Hope is a cruel thing, he knows that but it's the only thing that helps him survive through such difficult times. He is going to cherish all the moments that they've spent together until she comes back or until the very breath of his.
