This composition appeared because my aunt was inspired to paint the wonderful flower garden that my Mum has curated. The piece is formed from loose broad brush strokes. I was inspired by the exercise “Paint using only 50 brush strokes”. This holds more but is an important moment towards that artist’s holy grail known as “loosening up”.
