Original artwork description:

This painting began as an exploration of movement, space and light — inspired by the incredible formations of starling murmurations. I worked from a photograph, trying to capture that fleeting sense of flow and connection.

The background is built up in soft layers of oil paint, giving a subtle sense of depth and atmosphere. The birds themselves were drawn slowly, dot by dot, using an acrylic Posca pen — a meditative process that took many quiet evenings.

Like much of my recent work, this piece was made in the small pockets of time around family life. The rhythm of this painting mirrored the rhythm of these days — a little at a time, with pauses, returns, and new perspectives.

This painting is signed and dated on the back and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. It will be carefully wrapped in tissue and foam board and shipped in a sturdy cardboard box within five working days.
