In my plein air painting, I wanted to capture the tranquil beauty of Shaw's Cove in Laguna Beach coming alive. The scene is a harmonious blend of nature's grandeur and man's gentle touch, with a gazebo perched atop a hill overlooking the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean.

The canvas is awash with the soft tones of the diffused sun, as the sky transitions from a cerulean blue to a warm, lavender hue. The gentle waves of the ocean reflect the shifting colors, their surface glistening like liquid glass. The water's edge is kissed by a gentle, foamy froth
