This piece is from an ongoing series of paper collage art. The base of this sea and sky-inspired piece was constructed entirely of paper collage from cyanotypes, vintage sailing maps, charts, watercolor paper, envelops, and paper ephemera. I then layered acrylic paint over the bars to create more interest. There is much to discover in the layers of paper and paint.
